There is a large well equipped kitchen and dining area opening onto a terrace with a stream running beneath it, ideal for relaxing. The large lounge living area is light and airy, overlooked by the upstairs gallery, with satellite TV / DVD and a small area for the children to relax and play. French doors open onto a large terrace with a barbecue, overlooking the pool, mature gardens and children play area.

Le Peyrat is ideally situated on the edge of a typically French village,with uninterrupted views of the surrounding vineyards and forest. The village boasts a superb bar and restaurant, ancient church,village shops and tennis courts, all just a 5 minute stroll away. The Dordogne is renowned for its wine, climate and history and Le Peyrat is perfectly situated to sample them all. The historic towns of Bergerac and Perigueux and famous vineyards of St Emilion are all within a 35 minutes drive Or if you want to venture further, the exciting city of Bordeaux with its beautiful architecture and fabulous shops is 50 minutes drive. Or if you fancy a lazy day in the sun, Le Peyrat is 5 minutes from the picturesque Lac de Gurson, a beautiful large sandy beach set among forests ideal for swimming. It boasts bars / restaurants, equestrian centre, boating, fishing and a large water chute for the children. Shopping in the bustling markets is a must there is a market on every day in the local towns |
