L’HERMENAULT is 3 km. away. This village has a supermarket, boulangerie, Post Office, banks, chemist shop (English spoken), doctors and dentist, public swimming pool, tennis courts and sports hall. The popular supermarkets Le Clerc and Intermarché are located in Fontenay. Discovering gourmet restaurants, visiting the Chateau and the Saturday market or just walking along the banks of the river Vendee, the ambience of the town is totally French.
