Can Pacreu is a traditional all stone Catalan mas (farmhouse) situated in the Pyrenean foothills. It has been renovated to give modern comforts without losing its old fashioned charm. It is south facing with a vista across the valley to the Spanish border. It is set in its own sloping meadows and woodlands.
The ground floor is open plan with a modern fitted kitchen area. There are wooden beams, a tiled floor and a wood burning stove. Satellite tv.DVD/video.
The semi spiral staircase leads to 2 double bedded rooms, a twin and a small room which can either have a single bed or a cot. There is a shower room with toilet and a seperate toilet.
Outside there is a roofed patio with table and chairs and a gas barbecue. Steps lead to the 8.5m x 4.5m pool. It has full width steps at one end and a waterfall at the other. It is equipped with a safety alarm.
There is ample parking on the gravelled area outside the house.

The house is 7Km from Prats de Mollo up a single track tarmac road. Prats is a 1000 year old fortified Catalan village.
Inside the walls there is a choice of cafes with terraces where you can sit and enjoy the pollution free air.
There is a selection of shops and restaurants.
We are within easy driving distance of Spain and the Mediterranean.
If you like walking, bird watching, flora, fauna, beaches, churches, forts, gorges, trains, to mention but a few, LOOK NO FURTHER.
It is all within driving distance of Can Pacreu.
If you do not feel so energetic - NO PROBLEM!
