Property description:

Le Perchoir des Paons is a stone farm house believed to be over 300 years old, with outbuildings and grounds of about 2 acres. The house benefits from lovely views across the valley, as it’s built on the side of a hill and basks in sunshine nearly all day long. It’s set in farmland in a hamlet on the outskirts of the tiny village of Gindou in the Lot, half way between the Rivers Dordogne and Lot.

The property has six bedrooms and four bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. The accomodation is flexible and lends itself to both small and large groups.

We have an outdoor swimming pool (10m x 5m) and an art studio where we run Art workshops and tutored holidays. This facility is also available for all guests to use.

We offer both Bed & Breakfast and Evening meals en famille to our guests all year round.

For further information please visit our website www.leperchoirdespaons.com

Local attractions:

We are near the well known villages of Cazals, with it’s Sunday market, shops and restaurants, Les Arques with it’s famous ‘Zadkine’ museum and the restaurant ‘La Recreation’ and many other local restaurants and places of interest are within easy driving distance.

To the North it’s about 25 minutes drive to the beautiful Dordogne river banks with it’s medieval villages, chateaux and canoeing. About 25 minutes South you can find the much wider River Lot with all the vineyards stretching across the river valley and can visit the lovely city of Cahors with it’s historic Pont Valentre and the old town full of cobbled streets, shops and restaurants
