Villa Lou Capitou is situated between the villages of Beaumes de Venise and Aubignan in the Vaucluse. It is secluded and quiet yet is close enough to walk or cycle to either village for fresh baguettes for breakfast. Beautiful pool with rock feature waterfall. Tranquil sheltered garden. Magnificent views of Mt Ventoux and the Dentelles. Carpentras 7 minutes, Avignon 20 minutes.
The villa is set in an established garden of one and a half acres planted with indigenous Provencal shrubs and trees: cypress, firs, olives, lavender and wild thyme. There are four bedrooms on two levels, with bath, shower and toilets on each level. On the ground floor is a large living / dining room with table large enough to seat 8 comfortably. The adjoining living room is comfortably furnished with tiled floors and rugs. A large fireplace is situated between the living and dining room. The dining room opens out onto a lovely shaded terrace with with views of Mt Ventoux and the Dentelles. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven, gas and electric hob, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. Cutlery and crockery for 8 are provided, plus all cooking utensils. The laundry is equipped with washing machine, separate tumble drier and ironing facilities. There are three alternative ways to get to Villa Lou Capitou: road, air, TGV.

There is so much to do: walking, cycling, climbing, markets, sightseeing - and of course enjoying the legendry food and wine from Beaumes de Venise and surrounding villages.
The village has everything you need: boulangerie, patisserie, supermarket, pottery, olive oil mill and a selection of restaurants and cafes at a range of prices. Beaumes is in the heart of the Southern Cotes du Rhone wine region, with Vacqueyras and Gigondas a few kms to the north and Chateauneuf du Pape to the west.
There are three Unesco World Heritage sites within a 40 minute drive of the villa: the old centre of Avignon with its Palais des Papes, the Gallo-Roman amphitheatre at Orange and the Pont du Gard. And Marseille is 60 minutes away on the motorway.
And of course you are in the heart of the superb Dentelles de Montmirail and within sight of Mont Ventoux, with its superb views and walks.
